Biography
Adam Huebner, an Elite rated Professional member of the United States Professional Tennis Association since 1988, has been teaching tennis in Arizona since 1986. Over his 35 year career, Adam has served as the associate professional at the world-class John Gardiner’s Tennis Ranch; director of tennis at the Hole-in-the-Wall Racquet Club in Phoenix; head tennis professional at LaCamarilla Racquet and Fitness Club in Scottsdale; and director of tennis at Radisson Resort and Spa Scottsdale.
Adam is currently the founder and director of the Arizona Tennis Academy, Inc., a community tennis organization offering adult and junior tennis programs for beginner through advanced players at the Pointe Hilton Resort Squaw Peak. In addition, Adam has incorporated "grass root" tennis programs at private, public and charters schools in the area using the USTA's "Ten and Under" tennis program with one goal in mind, to grow the game of tennis in the Valley.
Adam just completed his 20th summer season as Director of Tennis at Promontory - The Ranch Club in Park City, Utah. This prestigious private country club offer a wide variety of instructional, competitive and social tennis program for adults and juniors.
Adam has also taught thousands of students over his 35 year career. He has coached over one hundred sectional ranked juniors and is a previous national and sectional ranked player. He is a member of the Wilson advisory staff, a graduate of the Van deer Meer Tennis University in Hilton Head, N.C and served for four years on the Southwest USPTA Board of Directors as the District Coordinator. He has been the tournament director of more that 20 USTA sectional tournaments, host site for the USTA Super Nationals for 6 years, Co-Director for the $15,000 prize money USTA Futures event, and the tournament director and co-chairman for the Susan B. Kohman "Serve for the Cure" tennis tournament raising $23,000 for charity. Adam is also trained in Dartfish video analysis software allowing for instant visual feedback thereby greatly improving and accelerating the learning process.
Lastly, Adam continues to educate himself by attending the Southwest and National USPTA conventions which provide continuing education courses for teaching professionals. These courses are taught by some of the top professionals in the industry, delivering the latest methods in teaching world class players.
